Indigenous Knowledge & Culture

Indigenous Knowledge & Culture

This section will acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the principal geographic focus for the Forum, i.e. the waters of Moreton Bay, its associated islands, the immediate coast and estuaries. We will seek to articulate and advance the crucial implications of the Aboriginal Peoples’ connection to Country relationship and the imperative for it to receive greater recognition than hitherto in planning, management and governance arrangements for Moreton Bay.
